For most devices, the Ports device setup class and the Serial function driver provide the functionality required to operate serial ports and COM ports. To install serial ports and COM ports using these system-supplied components, do the following:
Provide an INF file that specifies the Ports device setup class and the Serial function driver as the service for the port.
To configure a serial port as COM port, comply with the requirements that are defined in Configuration of COM Ports.

It works just like your average USB Data Stick. However, the USB to WIFI device is WIRELESS! The USB to WIFI device reads files from a remote location and share those thru the USB port. This is an idea solution for devices with a USB port but that do not have a wireless solution. To program an Android® device with the correct settings to connect to AT&T data services: Tap your device’s Settings menu. Choose either Wireless & Networks, More Networks, or Connections. Tap Mobile Networks, then Access Point Names. Find and select the option to add a new APN.
